The snapshot exposed 74 operations and 358 signatures, including all six integer types, f64 and 36 conversion pairs. Advanced mathematics was not yet included.

macOS arm64/Node 24.19.0 release checks passed with 1,223 TS and seven Rust tests. Four modes covered all f64 methods, compensated/extreme statistics, rounding, scalars, vectors and aliases. BigInt references checked integer arithmetic, rotations, high products and bit counts. i8/u8 covered all input values, not every binary Cartesian pair; larger types used boundaries and deterministic samples. All 36 conversion pairs covered arrays/out/residency, NaN/infinities, truncation, precision loss, wrapping/saturation and atomic failure.

Direct ABI and memory suites checked wrong signatures, pointers, layouts, flags, scalar/division/shift failures, masks/ddof, overlap, ownership, eight-byte alignment, growth, disposal and getter-induced lifetime changes. The extension rehearsal remained f32-only. Chromium/WebKit passed 20 tests; Firefox's ten failed at launch. The other four native targets and that phase's minimum Node evidence were still open.

Performance and checkpoint

The old bench:p4 (now bench:typed) verified and measured 297 cases: 11 scenarios at three sizes, JS and four modes with array/resident calls. They covered f64 add/sum, narrow integer operations, i32 mulHigh/divTrunc, u32 rotl, f32→f64 and i32→u8. Seven samples, median/MAD, warmups/iterations and environment/asset hashes were retained. Reused output was timed; resident upload/allocation were excluded; preflight integer division/conversion checks were included.

Rust added 28 type/size add cases, reaching 68 total. New implementations were scalar with no fixed speed threshold. Raw logs were in artifacts/p4/ and the complete snapshot in artifacts/baseline/p4-2026-09-19/. It retained all prior benchmark suites and source hashes; overall status was failed because Firefox could not launch.
